The problem
As part of the Y/OUR HOUSE campaign created for Toshiba TVs in partnership with Defected Records, we designed and developed a microsite to host the pre-event competition and as a location for fans to stream and catch up on the behind-the-scenes show.
The solution
The website evolved through three phases to ensure the best content was always available and was designed to reflect the campaign and the essence of the festival. At first, users could sign up to receive reminder notifications, or enter a competition to win a party pack – a huge prize that included everything a house music fan needed to join in at home, including a Toshiba TV and soundbar.
The result
During the festival, the site then became a single location from which fans could live stream the daily behind the scenes show live every evening, or catch up on previous episodes that they might have missed. The campaign racked up an impressive 64,000 hours of watched content and a 4% increase in sales for Toshiba TVs, earning recognition as a highly commended finalist in The Drum Content Awards 2021.
